NCT ID NCT07605247
First seen May 25, 2026 · Last updated Jun 16, 2026 · Updated 5 times
Summary
This study tests whether adding a weight-loss shot (tirzepatide) to standard hormone therapy (a progesterone IUD) can better eliminate early-stage uterine cancer or pre-cancer in overweight women. About 30 women will be randomly assigned to get either the combination or the IUD alone. The goal is to see if the cancer disappears after one year, while also improving quality of life and preserving the ability to have children.
