Could a cooler office and a walking desk boost your health?

NCT ID NCT07140536

Summary

This study aimed to understand how using a treadmill at a standing desk and working in a cooler room affect people's health and comfort. Sixteen healthy young adults spent four days in a lab office, trying different combinations of sitting, light walking, and two room temperatures. Researchers measured things like blood sugar, heart rate, comfort, and thinking skills to see what setup might be best for health and saving energy.
