First seen Sep 30, 2025 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 31 times
Summary
This study tests a program called TIARAS, which combines a reward system for staying drug-free and on PrEP with expressive writing about past trauma. The goal is to see if this approach helps women who inject drugs reduce their risk of getting HIV. 219 women will take part for 12 months, and researchers will track their PrEP use and risky behaviors.
