Researchers map hidden blood disorder risk in trauma victims
NCT ID NCT07186712
Summary
This study aimed to understand how often severely injured patients develop early problems with their blood's ability to clot properly. Researchers looked back at the medical records of 263 trauma patients to measure how common this issue is and to identify which patients are most at risk. The goal is to gather knowledge that could help doctors spot and treat these dangerous clotting problems faster in the future.
