First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 09, 2026 · Updated 28 times
Summary
This study surveyed 616 transgender adults in Italy to understand why they chose or declined fertility preservation before gender-affirming treatment and how much regret they feel about that decision. Researchers asked about the counseling and support they received, as well as personal and financial factors that influenced their choice. The goal is to help doctors and counselors give better advice to transgender people about their fertility options.
