First seen Jan 06, 2026 · Last updated May 08, 2026 · Updated 19 times

Summary

This study tests whether a non-invasive device that gently stimulates a nerve in the ear can improve arm and hand recovery in people who had a stroke within the last 6 months. About 48 participants will receive either real or placebo stimulation during their regular rehab sessions. The goal is to see if this added stimulation helps the brain rewire faster and leads to better movement.
