Summary
This early study tests whether tranexamic acid, a drug used for heavy bleeding, can reduce dark patches in two rare skin conditions: lichen planus pigmentosus and ashy dermatosis. Researchers will enroll 5 adults and measure pigment changes with special devices. The goal is to see if this drug offers a new option for people with limited treatment choices.
