Can better birth tear training stop Mothers' Long-Term leakage?
NCT ID NCT07336017
Summary
This study tests if training delivery room staff to better spot and repair birth tears can prevent long-term anal incontinence in mothers. It will enroll 1,000 women who gave birth vaginally at a French hospital. The goal is to see if this training leads to fewer mothers experiencing leakage of stool or gas years after delivery.
