Can a few chat sessions change how women face childbirth?
NCT ID NCT06155435
Summary
This study tested whether a short counseling program could help first-time pregnant women feel less fearful about childbirth and more confident about having a vaginal delivery. Researchers worked with 40 women, giving half of them 6-8 counseling sessions focused on building on their strengths. The goal was to see if this training changed their fears, confidence, and even their choice between a vaginal birth or a cesarean section.
