Summary

This study tests a communication training program for nurses and social workers at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. The goal is to help them respond more effectively and compassionately to the challenges faced by families caring for a loved one with cancer. About 80 healthcare providers will participate, and the study will measure changes in their skills and confidence, as well as family satisfaction with care.
