New moms get help for bladder leaks in simple training trial

Summary
This study tests two nonsurgical treatments—pelvic floor muscle training and a home biofeedback device—against standard education to reduce urinary leakage in new mothers. About 216 first-time moms who had a vaginal delivery and are at high risk for pelvic floor problems will take part. The goal is to see which approach works best to improve bladder control by 6 months after giving birth.
