Can a short course make pain pumps safer? study tests training for hospital staff

NCT ID NCT07359118

Summary

This study tested whether a training program could improve the knowledge and attitudes of doctors and nurses about patient-controlled pain pumps used after surgery. Researchers gave 242 healthcare workers a questionnaire, provided them with a structured educational course, and then gave them the same questionnaire a week later. The goal was to see if the training led to better understanding, which could improve patient safety and pain management.
