Doctors get special training to stop HIV spread in southern youth
NCT ID NCT06487390
Summary
This study tested a training program for doctors in Alabama to help them better prevent HIV in young women. The program taught doctors how to have comfortable conversations about sexual health and prescribe PrEP, a daily pill that prevents HIV. Researchers wanted to see if the training was practical for doctors to use and if they found it helpful.
