Summary

This study tested a training program for doctors-in-training and nurse practitioner students to improve how they communicate with and care for minority and low-income patients with high blood pressure. The goal was to see if this training would help patients achieve lower blood pressure readings. The program focused on reducing unconscious bias and building better patient-provider relationships through simulated practice sessions.
