New drug trial aims to soothe troubled stomachs
NCT ID NCT05653310
Summary
This study is testing whether a medication called tradipitant can help people with functional dyspepsia, a condition that causes ongoing stomach pain and discomfort, especially after eating. Researchers will compare tradipitant to a placebo (inactive pill) in 60 participants to see if it improves how the stomach functions and reduces symptoms like fullness and pain after meals. The goal is to find a better way to manage this chronic digestive condition.
