Summary
This study aimed to develop better tools for understanding how daily stress and environment influence drug use. Researchers gave smartphones and GPS devices to about 400 adults receiving treatment for opioid addiction. Participants used the devices to report stress and drug use in real-time over several months, while also receiving standard medication treatment.
