Scientists hunt source of dangerous lung infections in CF patients
NCT ID NCT05686837
Summary
This study aims to understand how people with cystic fibrosis (CF) catch hard-to-treat NTM lung infections. Researchers will follow 100 people with CF from six care centers to see if infections spread between patients in healthcare settings or come from shared water sources. The goal is to identify infection routes to help prevent future outbreaks.
