First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Apr 17, 2026 · Updated 20 times

Summary

This study is testing a new, advanced blood test to see if it can detect germs like bacteria and viruses in people receiving a stem cell transplant. Participants will have their blood drawn before the transplant and for six months after to look for signs of infection. The goal is to learn if this test can find infections earlier than current methods and link them to symptoms like fever.
