First seen May 30, 2026 · Last updated Jun 08, 2026 · Updated 2 times

Summary

This study follows 300 people who had a traumatic brain injury (TBI) to see how they recover over many years. Researchers will check their thinking, independence, and daily function, and also test a blood marker called NF-L that may show brain damage. The goal is to better understand the long-term effects of TBI and find better ways to measure recovery.
