This study tested a step-by-step plan to safely remove tracheostomy (breathing) tubes from 30 brain-injury patients. The goal was to see if the plan could help patients get the tube out without needing it put back in within 96 hours. The approach aimed to make recovery easier and shorten hospital stays.
