Digital lifeline aims to get critically ill kids home faster
NCT ID NCT06375369
Summary
This project is testing a new, standardized digital support system for children in Alberta who need a tracheostomy (a breathing tube in the neck). The goal is to help these medically complex children leave the hospital sooner and reduce the mental stress on their families and caregivers. It will provide families with online education, peer support, and telehealth follow-up after going home.
