Summary

This study watches 362 adults having planned surgery to see if the pressure in the breathing tube affects throat pain, hoarseness, cough, or coughing up blood. Researchers will track these symptoms for up to 30 days after surgery. The goal is to find risk factors and create a score to predict throat injuries from the tube.
