New program aims to ease the heavy load for parents of medically complex kids
NCT ID NCT06283953
Summary
This study is testing ways to better support parents and caregivers who take children with tracheostomies home from the hospital. Researchers are comparing a standard discharge program to an enhanced version with extra support. They want to see if the extra help reduces caregiver stress and leads to fewer emergency hospital visits over six months.
