New drug trial targets rare, aggressive bone cancer

Summary
This study is testing whether the drug trabectedin can help control advanced mesenchymal chondrosarcoma, a rare and aggressive type of bone and soft tissue cancer. It is for patients aged 16 and older whose cancer has continued to grow despite prior chemotherapy. The main goal is to see if the treatment shrinks tumors and for how long it can keep the disease from progressing.
