New hope for ALS? experimental drug TP04HN106 enters human trials

Summary

This study tests an experimental drug called TP04HN106 in 60 people with ALS. Half get the drug, half get a placebo (salt water), and later everyone can receive the drug. The goal is to see if it slows down the disease and is safe. All participants also take standard riluzole tablets.
