Summary

This study looked at whether giving children aged 4-6 a liquid hourglass or a spiky ball toy during a blood draw can lower their pain, fear, and anxiety. 120 children were randomly assigned to use one of the toys or receive standard care. The goal was to see if these simple distractions make the experience less upsetting for young kids.
