Doll therapy could take the sting out of childhood shots

Summary

This study is testing if playing with a special therapeutic doll before getting a shot can help reduce fear, anxiety, and pain in young children. It will involve 80 children aged 4 to 6. Researchers will compare kids who use the doll to those who get the shot using the usual clinic routine.
