NCT ID NCT07459517

First seen Mar 12, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 9 times

Summary

This study looks at whether a musical-moving toy can help children aged 4-6 feel less afraid when getting an IV. The toy is used as a distraction during the procedure. Researchers will measure fear levels, how many tries it takes to place the IV, and how long it takes. The goal is to find a simple, low-cost way to improve the experience for children with difficult veins.
