New hope for kids with rare brain tumors: experimental drug trial now recruiting

Summary
This study is testing whether the drug Tovorafenib can help control craniopharyngioma, a rare brain tumor that mostly affects children and young adults. Researchers want to see if the drug can stop tumor growth for at least a year while maintaining patients' physical abilities and quality of life. The trial includes 57 participants aged 1-39 years with either newly diagnosed or returning tumors, who will receive the drug before and possibly after standard surgery.
