Can a simple surgical trick save moms and protect babies?
NCT ID NCT07412925
Summary
This study is testing if using a surgical tourniquet during a specific operation for a serious childbirth complication called placenta accreta is safe for newborns. The main goal is to see if the technique affects the baby's first health check scores right after birth. Researchers will compare outcomes in about 100 mothers who are randomly assigned to have the surgery with or without the tourniquet.
