Can a simple touch or tapping ease the exhaustion of new motherhood?

NCT ID NCT06440109

Summary

This study tested whether two non-drug techniques could help new mothers feel better and less tired after giving birth. Researchers compared therapeutic touch (a gentle hands-on method) and the Emotional Freedom Technique (a tapping method on specific points) against standard care. The study involved 60 first-time mothers who had a vaginal delivery and were in their first few days postpartum.
