New lens aims for sharper sight after cataract surgery
NCT ID NCT05985304
Summary
This study tested a specialized toric lens designed to correct vision for people getting cataract surgery who also have a mild, regular astigmatism in their cornea. It compared this new lens against a standard lens to see if it was safe and better at reducing leftover blurry vision from astigmatism. About 274 adults participated, with their vision checked for about 6 months after surgery.
