Summary
This study aims to understand why the medication topiramate helps some teens with severe obesity lose weight but is less effective for others. Researchers will measure drug levels in the blood of about 62 participants over 3.5 months to see how the body processes the medicine and connects that to weight changes. The goal is to gather information that could one day help doctors personalize doses for better results.
