First seen Jan 03, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 22 times
Summary
This study tested a sirolimus cream applied directly to the skin of children with vascular anomalies (abnormal blood vessel growths). The goal was to see if the cream could safely reduce symptoms like pain, size, and bleeding. Only 5 children enrolled before the study ended early, so results are very limited.
