Can a Fish-Derived DNA serum boost your Skin's glow?
NCT ID NCT07210190
First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study tests whether a topical multivitamin serum containing PDRN (a compound from fish DNA) can improve skin hydration and quality when applied after microneedling. Thirty adults interested in better skin will receive the treatment, and researchers will measure changes in hydration and other skin features. The goal is to see if this combination works better than microneedling alone.
What this could mean
Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only — not medical advice or a prediction.
Active substance
VAMP™ Topical Multivitamin Serum (containing PDRN, amino acids, vitamins, and peptides)
What this could lead to
If it works, this could point toward a simple cosmetic treatment to improve skin hydration, elasticity, and texture.
What could go wrong
This is a small, early-phase study with only 30 participants, so results may not apply to everyone. The benefits are cosmetic and not life-changing.
