First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 17, 2026 · Updated 27 times
Summary
This study looks at whether removing the entire pancreas is better than removing just the cancerous part for people with pancreatic head cancer who are at high risk of complications. About 170 adults will be randomly assigned to one of the two surgeries. Researchers will track survival over two years and check quality of life through questionnaires and blood samples.
