Summary
This study tested a new toothpaste with fluoride to see if it could help reverse the very early stages of cavities. 47 adults wore a device with tooth enamel samples in their mouth and used the toothpaste for 2 weeks. Researchers measured how much the enamel hardened, which indicates repair of early decay.
