Do transplanted teeth survive? researchers look back at novel dental technique
NCT ID NCT05267249
Summary
This completed study looked back at 16 patients who received transplants of their own mature teeth with a special root-tip removal technique. Researchers wanted to see if these transplanted teeth survived long-term and whether new blood vessels grew into them (revascularization). The goal was to understand if this approach could help preserve natural teeth that would otherwise be lost.
