First seen Oct 01, 2025 · Last updated Jun 12, 2026 · Updated 36 times
Summary
This study tested a desensitizing gel (Teethmate Desensitizer) to see if it reduces tooth sensitivity after a filling. Fifty adults aged 18-65 with cavities received either the gel under their filling or a standard filling. They rated their pain using a scale from 0 to 10. The goal was to find a simple way to make dental fillings more comfortable.
