New dental materials aim to save Kids' damaged teeth and let roots grow

NCT ID NCT07336498

Summary

This study is testing three different dental materials to see which one works best to help young permanent teeth with damaged nerves continue developing healthy roots. It involves 75 children aged 7-10 who have deep cavities in their back teeth but no serious infection. Researchers will use special 3D X-rays to measure how well each material helps the tooth roots grow longer and stronger over 12 months.
