Dental showdown: new 'Endocrown' takes on traditional crowns
NCT ID NCT07206108
Summary
This study is comparing two different ways to fix and protect a tooth that has had a large filling or defect after a root canal. Researchers will test a newer method called a 'modified endocrown' against the more traditional method of using a post, core, and full crown. They will follow 246 patients for two years to see which restoration lasts longer and works better.
