Faster braces? study tests methods to speed up treatment while protecting bone
NCT ID NCT06500559
Summary
This study looked at two methods to speed up orthodontic tooth movement during braces treatment. Researchers compared a platelet-rich plasma (PRP) injection to a minor bone procedure called decortication in 60 young adults. The main goal was to see which method caused less damage to the jawbone around the teeth while moving them faster.
