Dentists test which tool heals bone better after root surgery

Summary

This study compares two surgical methods for treating infected tooth roots. Dentists will perform microsurgery on 130 patients using either traditional rotary drills or newer piezoelectric tools to remove infected tissue. Researchers will track how well the bone heals over 12 months to see if one method leads to better recovery.
