Root canal Re-Do: can a common painkiller outperform standard treatment?

Summary
This study aims to see which of two medications works better to heal a bone infection around a tooth root after a previous root canal has failed. About 60 patients with this type of infection will have their old root filling removed and receive one of the two test medications inside the tooth for a week. Healing will be checked with special X-ray analysis after one year to see which medication led to better bone regrowth.
