Root canal paste showdown: which heals bone better?

NCT ID NCT07237620

Summary

This study aims to see which of two medicated pastes works better for healing bone infections around the roots of teeth that need a second root canal treatment. Researchers will compare calcium hydroxide, a common paste, against diclofenac sodium, an anti-inflammatory paste. They will measure healing by taking special X-rays before treatment and one year later to see how much bone has grown back.
