First seen Mar 15, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 6 times
Summary
This study looked at how tooth sockets heal after being filled with Bio-Oss Collagen, a bone graft material, following tooth extraction. Thirty-nine adults with a single-rooted tooth scheduled for extraction and later implant placement took part. Researchers used CT scans and bone samples to track healing at 3, 6, and 9 months, and checked implant success up to 3 years after the final restoration.
