Could your own blood speed up healing after dental surgery?
NCT ID NCT07153133
Summary
This study is testing if a gel made from a patient's own blood components can help reduce common problems after wisdom tooth surgery. Sixteen patients having both lower wisdom teeth removed will have the gel applied to one side to compare healing. Researchers will measure swelling, pain, and check blood markers to see if the gel helps the mouth heal faster and with fewer complications.
