NCT ID NCT07150572

First seen Jun 25, 2026 · Last updated Jun 26, 2026 · Updated 1 time

Summary

This study checked whether surgically assisted rapid maxillary expansion (SARME) changes the color of front teeth. Thirty young adults with a narrow upper jaw were compared to a similar group without treatment. Tooth color was measured with a special device before and after surgery. The goal was simply to observe any color changes, not to treat or cure a disease.
