Your old tooth could help your new implant heal better

NCT ID NCT06313216

Summary

This study tested a new method to help bone heal around dental implants placed right after a tooth is pulled. Researchers compared using a processed piece of the patient's own extracted tooth as a bone graft material against a standard method. The goal was to see if this approach improved implant stability and the look of the gums in 63 adult patients with non-restorable front teeth.
