First seen Feb 16, 2026 · Last updated May 06, 2026 · Updated 10 times

Summary

This study looks at a new surgical method to find the original site of head and neck cancers that have spread to lymph nodes but have no known starting point. About 100 patients will have their tongue base tissue removed and examined in detail. The goal is to see if this approach can identify more hidden primary tumors, helping guide better treatment.
